Letter from the winemaker - September 2012

Published on Thursday, May 23, 2013 to 11h49

In this beautiful month of september, the work of the vines slows down  and a period of well-deserved rest begins.

With a month of June particularly cool and rainy, the vine flower had a hard time blossoming which will have consequences on our harvest. We now hope for a wonderful sunny weather until the grape harvest timen, which will occur at the end of October and will allow the finest quality.

At the cellar, after active sells on every exporting markets and still many loyal visitors at the Domain, the stocks of the year 2011 are very low.

Concerning the high quality wines of Maxime Red and White 2010, we finish the sells and they will soon be followed by the year 2011.

These wines, after one year in oak barrels, are wonderfully good. Very beautiful bottles coming up could one day rest in your cellars.

We wish you to enjoy the wine tasting,

Your winemaker,

Jean-Yves Delaporte
