Sancerre Red, Cul de Beaujeu 2012

THE WINE : The white wines have the unique clay taste of Chavignol. In red, the Cul de Beaujeu is the only vintage of this type growing on this historical plot. It offers tannins both enveloping and elegant. The flint vintage is straighter.

THE DOMAIN : Located in Chavignol, this domain of 24 hectars is in the family since the XVIIth century. Today, Mathieu Delaporte is one of the great hopes of the Sancerrois. Still in his gorgeous twenties, he made the 2012, 2013 and 2014 vintages, all cherished by the amateurs of good balance of price and quality.
